In the presence of more than 150 leaders from various universities in the Arab world, the University of Business and Technology scored a new international achievement by advancing for the third year in a row in the (QS) ranking of the best universities in the Arab world for the year 2023 AD, which was launched during the first day of the (QS) Forum for Arab Universities, which was held During the period October 19 and 20, 2022 AD, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates,
The university celebrated its achievement of the 43rd Arab rank in the international students standard, and the 51st Arab rank in the international faculty standard, which came as a confirmation of the university’s efforts to enrich the educational experience in its holistic form, which comes through several factors, foremost of which is the cultural diversity of faculty members and students. The university includes nearly 30 nationalities representing five continents (North America, Asia, Africa, Europe and Australia).
As contributed to the achievement of this achievement, the university adopted a policy of providing periodic educational trips locally and internationally for its students, in cooperation with major international universities. Business and technology only, but the opportunity was provided for the participation of students from various Saudi universities. In addition, the university adopts the practice of international educational trips, the last of which was to the Republic of Greece.
The university enhances the international aspect of its programs through additional practices, including hosting international researchers, academics and professionals to hold meetings and lectures that are in line with the requirements of the various academic courses at the university, in addition to holding the university’s programs for benchmarking practices with international counterpart programs to ensure not only that these programs are aligned with market requirements. This is also reinforced by the adoption of external arbitration procedures by independent arbitrators working in reputable international universities, in addition to the use of international references in courses provided by major international publications.
On this occasion, His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Abdullah bin Sadiq Dahlan, and His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Osama bin Ahmed Janadi, expressed their pride and pride in the continuous efforts made by the university’s employees to enhance the university’s position locally and internationally. As His Excellency Dr. Wiam Ben Hosni Tounsi, Vice President for Development and Quality, and General Supervisor of Academic Accreditation Projects and National and International Classifications, expressed his thanks and gratitude to all contributors to achieving this important international achievement, which confirms the continuation of the university’s endeavors towards national leadership in its educational and research services. The achievement is a confirmation of what the university achieved during April of this year by ranking 400 globally for the university’s contribution to achieving the two United Nations sustainable development goals related to reducing inequalities, in addition to adequate work and economic growth, and what the university achieved during the year 2021 AD by obtaining a five-star rating from The international organization QS, and the university was distinguished in 8 criteria, including the criteria of inclusiveness and internationalization.
