Contact To meet with our counselor, please visit with the student counseling unit or send an Email to scu@ubt.edu.sa . It is located in the student’s affairs building. The office hours from 8:30 A.M till 4:30 P.M
The Student Council Unit represents the students’ entity and determines a link between the students and the university administration. This unit serves students, discuss their issues, and raise their inner voices by defending their points of view. It also aims to promote active and cooperative spirits between students on one-hand and the management and faculty members on the other hand, developing awareness of moral values and infuse the spirit of responsible leadership in them. The council consists of fifteen number of students, presidents and vice president. This council selects its members through an election process in accordance with the deanships standards.

تمثل وحدة مجلس الطلاب الجهة الطلابية وتحدد حلقة الوصل بين الطلاب وإدارة الجامعة. تخدم هذه الوحدة الطلاب وتناقش قضاياهم وترفع أصواتهم الداخلية من خلال الدفاع عن وجهات نظرهم. كما يهدف إلى تعزيز الروح النشطة والتعاونية بين الطلاب من ناحية والإدارة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس من ناحية أخرى ، وتنمية الوعي بالقيم الأخلاقية وبث روح القيادة المسؤولة فيها. يتكون المجلس من خمسة عشر عددًا من الطلاب والرؤساء ونائب الرئيس. يختار هذا المجلس أعضائه من خلال عملية انتخابية وفق معايير العمادات.
This unit takes leading efforts allowing students to translate and apply what they have learned to the surrounding community and take an action in problem solving processes. It is also facilitate many volunteering opportunities for students through the volunteering club to help them finish their required 100 volunteering hours.
The media office seeks to promote the programs, activities and services provided by the deanship, and endorse media communication between employees of the university professors, and administrators, and students, in addition its monitor and document all activities and events of deanship through the newspapers and social media channels.
تأخذ هذه الوحدة جهودًا رائدة تسمح للطلاب بترجمة وتطبيق ما تعلموه على المجتمع المحيط واتخاذ إجراء في عمليات حل المشكلات. كما أنه يسهل العديد من فرص التطوع للطلاب من خلال نادي التطوع لمساعدتهم على إنهاء 100 ساعة تطوعية مطلوبة.
يسعى المكتب الإعلامي للترويج للبرامج والأنشطة والخدمات التي تقدمها العمادة ، وتأييد التواصل الإعلامي بين منسوبي الجامعة من أساتذة وإداريين وطلاب ، إضافة إلى رصده وتوثيقه لكافة أنشطة وفعاليات العمادة من خلال الصحف و قنوات التواصل الاجتماعي.
Unit of innovation and entrepreneurship:
This unit has two main sections.
Everything starts with an idea; it could be a significant invention or innovative idea that can be turned into a successful business. The unit of innovation and entrepreneurship help students of the University of Business and Technology and directing them to the proper steps that contribute to shape their ideas and turn them into reality.
This unit works to encourage and improve talented students’ ability and develop their creativity, where the work of this section to discuss and explore the talents of the students and highlighted through them to share their talents in domestic and foreign forums.

هذه الوحدة لها قسمان رئيسيان.
كل شيء يبدأ بفكرة. يمكن أن يكون اختراعًا مهمًا أو فكرة مبتكرة يمكن تحويلها إلى عمل تجاري ناجح. تساعد وحدة الابتكار وريادة الأعمال طلاب جامعة الأعمال والتكنولوجيا وتوجههم إلى الخطوات الصحيحة التي تساهم في تشكيل أفكارهم وتحويلها إلى واقع.
تعمل هذه الوحدة على تشجيع وتحسين قدرة الطلاب الموهوبين وتنمية قدراتهم الإبداعية ، حيث يتم عمل هذا القسم لمناقشة واستكشاف مواهب الطلاب وإبرازها من خلالهم لمشاركة مواهبهم في المنتديات المحلية والأجنبية.

In 2012, the Students Affairs Department changed to a deanship after turning the faculties of Business Administration to the University of Business and Technology. Additionally, it became very close to students who are considered the primary focus of the university life. Thus, the responsibilities and tasks assigned to the deanship make it the most unique among other deanships in the university
Create an environment to build a culturally, academically and professionally balanced leading-personality.
Take care and invest students’ time outside the classrooms in such programs that are able to develop their personalities and qualify them to encounter all the obstacles that might face them during their educational path. Added to that, honing their interpersonal skills helps them to benefit themselves and their community.

The role of the Deanship of Student Affairs varies from others Deanships, as it is being the closest to the students and to the local community. Its major objective through its various services and programs is to build student’s personality at all levels; physically, mentally, socially and psychologically to prepare him/her to be an active leader thus achieves the principle of good citizenship, and to face life challenges with a composed confident personality and to contributes to academic and personal success, encourages independent civic responsibility, and promotes the welfare of all students.
The deanship is the umbrella under which all students' activities are performed, and through which all the facilities to students are made available. The deanship maintains continuous connection and interaction with students. It receives students' feedback about various services at the university and strives to improve such services.

Deanship of students’ affairs provides cultural activities to attract the students in order to build their personalities and develop their talents and creative abilities in cultural and literary fields. This action will be evident through their participation in our various contests, lectures, and scientific exhibitions, visiting, and art activities.
Deanship of students’ affairs has established distinctive programs for sports activities to attract the largest number of students to participate in an actual educational and athletic framework. Therefore, the university provides multi-sport facilities for the success of these programs as following (indoor swimming pool, volleyball, basketball, bowling, snooker and billiards).
